Dimitris Apostolopoulos

He is head of the Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT in the University Hospital of Patras, Greece. His research work is mainly on the clinical applications of SPECT/CT, parathyroid imaging, and deep learning techniques in medical imaging. He has co-authored more than 60 scientific papers published in peer-reviewed medical journals and more than 50 oral/poster presentations in European or International Congresses. His publications have 714 citations (h-index=16). He was a co-investigator in 5 grants. He has co-edited the book “Nuclear Medicine”, Neon Publications 2021, and authored chapters in two other books.
